When Addiction Pushes The Family to The Breaking Point

When addiction pushes a family to the breaking point, you need someone who answers the phone and shows up. Intervention 365 provides East Coast intervention services from Maine to Florida, led by Jim Reidy, Certified Intervention Professional (CIP #10266). You will not reach a call center or a referral service. Instead, you speak directly with Jim or one of the two interventionists on his team.

15+ years and 750+ professionally led interventions, Jim has guided families through alcohol addiction, drug addiction, prescription misuse, mental health crises and dual diagnosis. As a result, families get a clear plan, a calm leader and a direct path to treatment.

Jim also knows this road from the inside. He has been in recovery from alcohol and cocaine since March 4, 2006. So when he sits at your kitchen table, he understands both sides of the conversation. Read more about Jim Reidy.

What a Real Intervention Is, and What It Isn't

A real substance abuse intervention is not theatrical. It is not clinical, and it is not therapy. Instead, it means getting in the pit with your family and staying there. We hold your hand and guide every step until your loved one walks through the doors of treatment. That is where the real work begins.

Jim follows the Johnson Model of family intervention. In other words, the family is prepared, unified and ready before anyone sits down with the person who is struggling. The goal is never confrontation. The goal is a clear, loving path to help.

Our East Coast Intervention Services, Start to Finish

Our East Coast intervention services cover every stage, from the first phone call to life after admission.

  1. Free, confidential consultation. First, we learn about your loved one, your family and what has blocked change so far. Then we build the right strategy.
  2. Family education and coaching. Next, we teach your family about enabling, codependency, boundaries and communication. This step often becomes the turning point.
  3. Personalized intervention planning. We choose the participants, prepare what each person will say and plan for resistance. Nothing is left to chance.
  4. Treatment placement coordination. Before the intervention, we line up the right level of care. That can mean detox, inpatient rehab, PHP, IOP or a dual diagnosis program. We can also help you verify health insurance.
  5. In-home intervention. Our interventionist comes to you. We lead the intervention in your home, so your family is never alone in the room.
  6. Bed-to-bed transportation. When appropriate, we escort your loved one from home straight to treatment. As a result, there is no gap for second thoughts.
  7. Continued support after admission. Finally, we stay with your family after intake. We help with boundaries, discharge planning and what to do if relapse happens.

Where We Provide East Coast Intervention Services

Intervention 365 is based in Pennsylvania, our flagship state, and in South Florida. Jim splits his time between Philadelphia and Palm Beach, the bookends of the East Coast. Because of that, our East Coast intervention services reach every state in between.

New England: Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut

Mid-Atlantic: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia

Southeast: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida

Live outside the East Coast? Call anyway. We also travel nationwide. See our full East Coast Interventions page for more.

Why a Small Team Beats a Call Center

Intervention 365 is a small company of three interventionists. That matters. The person you speak with on the first call is the person who comes to your home. Your family's story never gets passed down a chain.

In addition, we offer the most family-friendly intervention price point on the East Coast. Experienced help should not be out of reach for a family in crisis. Learn why intervention experience matters.
